La Aurora 120th Anniversary: 120 years of heritage in one cigar

La Aurora is the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, and this 120th Anniversary stick is a diploma earned over a century and a half. A blend of 100 percent Dominican leaf wrapped in the prized Habano '92, it builds a medium-to-strong robusto with tight structure and a rich cocoa finish. This is heritage compressed into a single cigar.

120 years in one body

When a factory marks its 120th birthday, it does not roll an ordinary cigar. La Aurora poured the full prestige of the Dominican's oldest house into this commemorative blend.

It carries the ambition of telling a long story in leaf, and it plays the part beautifully.

Pure Dominican, core to wrapper

This is a Dominican puro: binder and filler are 100 percent Dominican, made of Corojo, Olor and Piloto Cubano. Each leaf adds a layer of character.

The wrapper is the prized Habano '92, hugging a 5-inch robusto at ring 50. Everything lives in one country, under one consistent blending philosophy.

Structure and layered flavor

The strength is medium to strong, but the real point is the structure. The cigar is tightly built, with notes that stack in layers rather than blur together.

Cedar and black pepper arrive first, dried fruit settles in the middle, and a rich cocoa finish closes it cleanly. This is the kind of complexity that makes you slow down to read each tier.

For the cigar reader

This one suits a smoker experienced enough to appreciate a single-origin blend. It does not shock, it rewards attention.

Sit down with a strong spirit or a dark coffee and give it the full time. This is a cigar for reflection, not for rushing.
